healthy vegan friday #14

Hello all!

I am sooo happy this week is over. I was sick, then had a test and an exam to finish it off. Not my ideal week that’s for sure. But I’m feeling recovered and ready to have a good weekend!

I hope you are all ready for another week of Healthy Vegan Friday!

Last week was fantastic once again so thank you! Seriously, I had such a hard time choosing my top 3, you really don’t make it easy on my guys!

For those of you who don’t know, Healthy Vegan Fridays is a weekly blog hop hosted by myself, Shelby @EverydayVegan Girl and Carrie @ Carrie on Vegan. It is a place to share your healthy vegan recipes that make use of whole ingredients and minimize the use of processed and refined foods. The recipes shared on this link up are intended to emphasis the beauty, creativity and benefits of a healthy, plant-based diet!

Pre-Workout Superfood Energy Bites

I’ve been totally slacking on working out lately- this is my way of trying to motivate myself! Packed with superfoods and easily digestible carbs, these are fantastic and tasty way to fuel up!

So, if you have a healthy vegan recipe (or 2) to share, please add it to the list below! If not, feel free to browse the submissions and get inspired! You can also check out our Pinterest Board and feel free to tweet about it using the hashtag #VeganFridays. Feel free to grab our button (code is on the sidebar) to help promote this even and show your vegan pride.

You don’t have to be vegan to submit, just needs to be a vegan recipe. So share that creativity of yours!

Just so everyone knows, Shelby is taking a little break from blogging for now, so it’s just me and Carrie hosting! Hope life quiets down for you soon Shelby!

Thanks and Happy Friday!

  1. Wow, this is such a brilliant idea and a great way to learn about fantastic new vegan dished. I’m a new vegan and the biggest hurdle is knowing what to cook and also having options so that your diet doesn’t get boring. Most new vegan have a large recipe book in their heads of meat dished that you can make at the drop of a hat but now it like having to install a new chip and implant it with new information. So this blog really helps to introduce a variety of vegan recipes that are yummy and don’t compromise on taste. I’ve really enjoyed seeing everyones submissions and will follow up weekly.

    • I’m really glad you have found this blog party so helpful! And that’s exactly wat we wanted to do with it- show how versatile, healthy and delicious vegan food can be! I hope you are feeling inspired and are rebuilding your brain’s recipe book :) If you ever need any help, do let me know!

  2. Another great lineup as always! I would really love to cram many of those pumpkin cream bars in my face as possible :) They look SO AMAZING! I'm going to work on something to submit this week :)

  3. Hi Gabby! I’ve linked up my Caramel Apple Pie this week….not sure how I missed Heather’s pumpkin cream bars, but I will definitely have to go check those out. I hope you have a great weekend, and thank you for hosting. :-)
