Hmmm that I’m not too sure about. If you want to try I would suggest not soaking it beforehand and then adjusting the amount of almond milk- you might need a little less. Let me know how it turns out!
Yum- my husband can’t eat bananas – any suggestions for a replacement?
(looking to make him something cake-ish for his birthday that is free of dairy, soy, gluten, refined sugars)
Hi Chelsea! Which recipe was this in reference to? The “recipage widget” doesn’t show me when you comment on the page!
If it was for my banana beet cake, I would try applesauce! But you may need to up the sweetener for an equivalent level of sweetness since bananas are sweeter. But the cke is plenty sweet so you may not need it :)
I made 2 batches of this last night and it’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever tasted!
I used pecans instead of walnuts and only had enough lime zest for half the amount and used your chocolate recipe without the stevia as I don’t have it.
It was so gorgeous. It just melted in my mouth, so light and fluffy and sweet crunchy all a the same time.
It was actually really easy and loved the fact it’s on the healthy side!
This made me smile HUGE. You are so sweet and I am so glad you liked it! It’s definitely on the healthier side- well it is healthy, just heavy. Although it’s so hard to refrain from eating half of it at once!
This was the first raw dessert I’ve ever made and it was delicioussss!!! I cannot believe avocado and banana could make such an awesome dessert. Even my dad, who was a total skeptic when I told him I was making key lime pie out of those things, ended up quite enjoying it. Thank you!
Hi Gabby, was just wondering if you could use Quinoa pops with this recipe?
It doesn’t show me which recipe you were inquiring about! Let me know and I’ll get back to you!
Sorry Gabby,it is the quinoa pancake recipe?

The no-bake pumpkin mousse cake
in that case maybe some apple butter? Or you could just leave it out and maybe add a touch more sweetener!
